1. Terms and Conditions

1.1 Brittany is a company with its own production, trade and sale of beauty products, through the Internet, stores and physical spaces.
 
1.2 In addition to the online store and email contact, Brittany has a physical space properly identified in the “Contact Us” section of this website.
All promotional campaigns are exclusive for marketing in the Dominican Republic.
The use of the information available on this website for the purchase of goods and services or for consultation implies that the user accepts the general conditions of use and sale contained in the following paragraphs:
 
1.3 Please read the following terms of use carefully. By accessing this website, it is assumed that you agree to be bound by the terms imposed by these terms of access and use. If you do not agree to these terms in any way, please do not access or even view the content of this website. By validating his order, the customer automatically and expressly accepts the present General Conditions of Sale.

 

2. Modifications to the Terms and Conditions of Sale

2.1 Brittany reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to modify, alter, suspend or even discontinue any part or all of this website, and even prohibit or restrict access to it. Brittany also reserves the right, without prior notice, to modify the terms of use or other rules posted on the website. You should therefore regularly consult the terms of use and conditions of sale, as continued use of the website implies unreserved acceptance of the modifications made to the website and submission to the latest version.

2.2 The version of these regulations has a precise date, orders are therefore managed by the General Conditions in use and therefore in force on the date of the order.

 

3. Customer information

3.1 The access information that Brittany acquires will be treated confidentially and will not be disclosed in any case, as is the case for the processing of any file relating to any of Brittany's customers.
 
3.2 Brittany's website may provide access to other websites through hyperlinks, but even if the link is made through this website, Brittany assumes no responsibility for the information contained in such sites, and their use implies the automatic responsibility of the user.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 The user acknowledges Brittany's intellectual property rights over its contents and all other rights provided for in the Code of Copyright and Related Rights, the Property Code and the Computer Crimes Act. By accessing this website, the user does not acquire any rights other than those provided for the use and viewing of this website and is not authorized to disclose, reproduce, copy, alter or perform any act which, under the terms of the applicable legislation, constitutes an infringement of the rights held by Brittany. Any fraudulent use of these rights constitutes an offense of counterfeiting, severely punished by the Intellectual Property Code and by the laws of the Dominican Republic.
 
4.2 The user is authorized to print or copy the information contained in this website for personal use only, provided that this information is not used for any commercial purpose.

5. Content

5.1 The images and information or other contents of this website are intended for private use only and may not be used for any other purpose outside Brittany. The images presented serve exclusively to illustrate the item indicated and therefore cannot form part of the contractual sales relationship between Brittany and the customer.
The accessories and complements shown in the photos are not included, unless duly indicated.

 

6. Prices

6.1 The sales prices indicated on the website are in pesos, euros and dollars, with taxes and fees included in the retail prices. For resale, please contact us.
 
6.2 All prices include the taxes legally in force.

 

7. Payment

7.1 Customers can pay using the following payment methods:
 
- Bank transfer.
- Debit or credit cards.
- PayPal (including credit cards).
- Other means available via on-line duly referenced on the website.

 

8. Orders

8.1 You may only place orders if you are over 18 (eighteen) years of age.
 
8.2 When the customer places his order through the website, he must fill in the form provided for this purpose. Before validating the order, the customer must check the form to confirm the data. Brittany cannot be held responsible for errors in the sending of e-mails, nor for errors in the sending of orders due to incorrectly completed forms.

 

9. Place an order online

9.1 Select the type of item you want, choose from the various item configuration options, such as size and/or color and quantity, and fill in the information on the order form. To view an item in more detail, place the mouse pointer over the image and click on the alternative images available. Then click on “Add to cart” and continue with the checkout process.

 

10. Delivery and collection service

10.1 All information about our “Delivery and Pickup Service” is available from the “Delivery Information” section of this website.

 

11. Payment

11.1 The methods of payment currently available are those referred to in line 7.
 
11.2 Regardless of the method of payment, goods will only be dispatched once payment has been confirmed.
 
11.3 If Brittany does not receive confirmation of payment within 3 working days, the order will be cancelled.
 
11.4 The customer is assumed to be aware that a domestic bank transfer takes approximately 3 working days to be processed by the bank, and an international bank transfer takes approximately 10 working days.

 

 12. Exchanges or returns

12.1 All items with any kind of manufacturing imperfection will be described in detail on your page with due attention to the remains of finish, paint, scratches, dents or other defects that may have, so that the customer who purchases an item of this type will be buying with full knowledge of their status and can not make any claim after the fact.
 
12.2 All new items have the legal warranty provided by the laws of the Dominican Republic against manufacturing defects.
 
12.3 Whatever the condition of the item (new or reconditioned), we will not exchange incomplete, damaged or misused products by the customer. The return must always include an invoice, receipt or original purchase order.
 
12.4 Returns covered by the warranty, and in accordance with sections 14.1, 14.2 and 14.3, shall be free of charge to the customer.

 

13. Returns

13.1 We guarantee the satisfaction of our customers and do not want you to purchase products where quality control (in the case of new products), or the full description of their condition (in the case of reconditioned products) may have failed. If you believe that we have sent you a defective product, please contact our Customer Service by email or telephone. You can still come to our premises with the purchase invoice and tell us if you wish to exchange the goods or receive a refund within 14 days of receipt of the order so that we can arrange for the collection of the product.

13.2 The following information is required for a return:
 
- Order or invoice number.
- Product reference and name.
- Details of the defect.
- Whether you would like a refund or a replacement product.
- A photograph of the product defect.

 

14. Refunds

14.1 In cases where refunds are required in connection with returns, Brittany will reimburse the customer within 30 days of receipt of the notification.

Refunds may be made by:
 
- Bank transfer and the NIB to be used for such transfer will be requested in advance.
- Cash delivered directly by hand, with the customer signing a receipt or proof of receipt.

 

15. My account

15.1 Do I need a customer account on the site?
 Yes, if you wish to use all the features of the Brittany website, we advise you to register. As a registered user you will be able to place online orders, receive news, promotions, special offers and much more.

 

16. Privacy Policy

16.1. All information related to our “Privacy Policy” is available from the “Privacy Policy” section of this website.

 

17. Acceptance of the General Conditions

17.1 You are responsible for any costs, expenses, damages or losses, regardless of their nature, incurred by Brittany as a result of your failure to comply with these “Terms and Conditions” referenced throughout this section.
 
17.2 For any dispute arising from the application of these “Terms and Conditions”, the court of law of the Dominican Republic shall have jurisdiction, waiving any other jurisdiction.
